Product descriptionThis chip integrates an MCU digital interface, data latch, LED driver, and other circuits. By controlling the chip through an external MCU, individual grayscale and cascading control can be achieved, enabling color matrix illumination control for outdoor displays. The product has excellent performance and reliable quality. The chip adopts a single-line communication method and sends signals using the zero-reset code. After the chip is powered on and reset, it receives data from the DIN end. After receiving 24 bits of data, the DOUT port starts to forward data, providing input data for the next chip. Before forwarding, the DOUT port remains low. At this time, the chip will not receive new data. The OUTR, OUTG, and OUTB PWM output ports of the chip will send out different duty cycle signals according to the received 24-bit data, with a signal frequency of 4 KHZ. If the DIN end input signal is a RESET signal, the chip will display the received data. After the signal ends, the chip will receive new data again. After receiving the initial 24 bits of data, it will forward the data through the DOUT port. Before receiving the RESET code, the OUTR, OUTG, and OUTB pins of the chip will output the original signal. After receiving a low-level RESET code longer than 80µs, the chip will output the 24-bit PWM data pulse width to the OUTR, OUTG, and OUTB pins. The chip adopts automatic shaping and forwarding technology, which makes the number of cascades of the chip not limited by the signal transmission, only by the screen refresh speed. For example, if we design a 1024-level cascade, its screen refresh time is 1024 X 0.4 X 2 = 0.8192ms (the data delay time of the chip is 0.4 µs), and there will be no flashing phenomenon. LEDs have the advantages of low voltage drive, environmental protection and energy saving, high brightness, large scattering angle, good consistency, ultra-low power consumption, and super long life. Integrating the control circuit on top of the LED makes the circuit simpler, smaller in size, and easier to install.
